The information you will find in these records are: Name of deceased, date and place of birth, date and place of death, date of burial, funeral home, owner of the plot, and address of the plot owner. For confidentiality, the plot owners of modern burials are not listed. Women's maiden names are sometimes provided as a part of the married name - for example, Smith, Mary Jane Jones, but the original records were not consistent.
The records for Ferries Funeral Home (including Henne, Reed, Smith, and Stevens Funeral Homes) are located in the Wyoming Room of the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library. The records for Champion Funeral Home (including Yarington & Champion) are currently being microfilmed, and will soon be available at the same location.
