Sheridan Genealogical Society

The Sheridan Genealogical Society was formed in 1982 as a group which will provide encouragement, interest, and education for the beginner as well as the advanced genealogist. They now have about 50 members throughout the United States. Past projects include indexing of Sheridan County Marriages, indexing the first two volumes of Ferries Funeral home records, indexing Sheridan County Naturalizations. An on-going project is the indexing of obituaries in all Sheridan County newspapers.
