The Lander Valley Genealogical Society was founded November, 1997 in Lander, Wyoming. Meetings are at the Fremont County Library in Lander on the second Thursday of the month, at 7:00 PM, from September through May.

Members are willing to help others with a smile! Also, classes on how to get
started in genealogy are offered. New members always welcome.
The Riverton Museum maintains a library with resources that may be of value to genealogical researchers seeking information about people in the Riverton, Shoshoni, Pavillion and eastern Fremont County areas. Queries are welcome and they are handled as time permits.
