MEYER, Mrs. Mother of Hon. J. M. Meyer of this county, died on the 22nd instantly, at the home of her daughter in Belmont County, Ohio. She was 88 years of age. Daily State Journal April 30, 1891
PIERSOL, S. H. Died suddenly this morning at his home in Clay District. He was sitting at the breakfast table and suddenly fell over dead. Mr. Piersol was the father of ex-editor Piersol, of this city and was 73 years of age. Daily State Journal April 30, 1891
