On the back of this picture had printed Bertie Strait, a cousin to Martha Sheets. I have found no connection to the Straits. Martha's maiden name was Lancaster, daughter of William Riley and Jemima Jane Pittman Lancaster. If you recognize anyone in this picture, contact: |

The tallest man, third from the left is my grandfather,
W.F. (Frant) Phillips. He was born in Uniontown, d.o.b. September 27, 1892 and grew up around Burchfield. This may be a group of fellows he played neighborhood baseball with. If you can identify the others, please contact Brenda J. Pittman. |

one at the far left in the back row. She was born in April 1898, grew up in Mobley and married in May 1917. This picture is before she married and may be at the Gallagher house in Mobley. Can you help me identify any of the others in this picture? Brenda J. Pittman |

I need help identifying the people in this
picture. The young boy in the front is my grandfather, Harry E. Kirkpatrick. I would guess it was taken between 1915-1920. Probably Center District, Wetzel County. The older woman is of particular interest to me and could be either of his grandmothers, Sarah Hunt Haines or Malissa Carney Kirkpatrick.

This picture was taken either around Proctor or
Earnshaw, I am not sure. All the picture says is Wetzel
County. It is suppose to be someone in my family, but do not
recognize either person or the building. I am curious to see if
anyone could tell me anything about the picture. Thanks.

I am not certain of the identity of these two
men. They may be William Sylvester Myers (youngest man and my
grandfather) and William Cleveland Myers (father of above said
Myers). I found this tucked inside William S. Myers' original copy
of, his grandfather, Sylvester Myer's books "Myers History of West
Virginia." There is penciled writing, on the back, appearing to
say:
113 Columbia Ave C/O Mrs Irvin Lancaster, Pa If anyone can identify, please notify Rene'e L. Woolley W - 1 |
