Logan County VA March 24th 1834

We Richard Brooks a clergyman residing in the County of Logan and State of Virginia and Francis Hendrex, and Charles L Clay, residing in the same County & State, hereby certify, that we are well acquainted. Ralph Stewart, who has subscribed and sworn to the sworned declaration that we believe him to be over Eighty years of age that he is reputed and believed in the neighborhood where he resides, to have been an officer, or soldier in the war of our revolution and that we fully concur in this opinion.  Sworn to and subscribed this day and year aforesaid.
