Mrs. Ellen Yamie, aged about 60 was knocked down and
killed by a cow at her home at

M. J. Hankins, the well known Tazewell merchant, is retiring from the dry goods

PATRICK H. WILLIAMS -- Patrick
H. Williams, for 16 years superintendent of Tazewell county schools, died in
Mattie Williams hospital last Thursday. He was
74 years of age. He volunteered in the Confederate army and was a member
of Company C, 16th
