Dedicated to the research and preservation

of family and community history.

We are located in South Hill, Virginia.

Meetings are on the 1st Tuesday of each month

at 7:PM in the Arnold Library conference room.

Our findings are in vertical files and on the

Genealogy bookshelves in the Reference room of the library.

Our local members will do 'minor' research (one or two items) for

information about families in this area for SVGS members

for no charge. For more extensive research, please contact

the President of the Society.

We serve the Virginia counties of Mecklenburg, Brunswick and Lunenburg

and other nearby Counties.

in Southside Virginia
