Over the years of working on Romine genealogy,
I have collected a few resouces which I would like to share with others
working on the same surname and related families. Some of the transcripts
that I have made have been published through the Romine email hosted
by Rootsweb. Some are just too large and contain too many surnames
of non-related families to be made available through that means.
Thus I have finally decided on this means to share the information that
I have collected.
I am not a professional transcriber and these pages
do contain errors. Should you find something here that you think
will be useful in your own research, I cannot urge you strongly enough
to obtain copies of the original. Most of the sources that I have
used are available on microfilm through the Family History Centers of the
LDS church.
This page will continue to grow as I get more of
these documents transcribed and formatted for posting on the Web.

In the following group of documents for only the surnames of Romine,
Emmons, Smallwood, Roman and Scott was an attempt made to copy any and
all references to individuals with that surname throughout the entire project.
All other names should be considered incomplete in their abstraction.
Names have been spelled as found; retention of some of the spelling of
other words has been attempted as far as using a spell checker to catch
my own typographical errors would permit. Punctuation was much less
rigorously followed. The user is advised to NOT view these transcripts
and occasional abstracts as authoritative but to seek the original should
he find something here that seems to pertain to his own family.
