Did your Rockbridge County, VA
ancestor serve in the REVOLUTIONARY WAR? I have copied all of
the extant PENSION APPLICTIONS for the REVOLUTIONARY SOLDIERS in Rockbridge
County, VA. I am currently transcribing and typing these. I plan to fully
index all names and places mentioned in this work. This will be an upcoming
publication. If you have a Revolutionary ancestor (from Rockbridge at some
time in his life) who filed for a pension some place other than Rockbridge,
mail me a copy of the Pension application, I will include this in an appendix
to this work. Just now, I have not set a deadline for publication, but
am considering the Spring of 1997.
