MADISON COUNTY, VA WILL BOOK 13, pgs. 4 & 5
In the name of God Amen: I William H. Bradley of the County of Madison and State of Virginia being weak in body, but of sound mind memory and understanding, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (viz)-
First- It is my will, and I do ordr that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as early after my deceased as conveniently can be be
Second- I give and bequeath unto Lewis Seal and Heirs at Law all of my Household and Kitchen furniture of every kind and Discription, except, one Bedstead, Bed, and Furniture complete, which I give to Mifs Luvinia F. Seal the Daughtr of Mr. Lewis Seal
Third- As to the live stock, I have one cow, which I give to Henry Seal at my decese, This property I give to the above named parties as compensation for services rendered to me heretofore and that may be rendered to me by them in future.
Fourth and lastly: I do hereby appoint my friend Wesley Weakley my Executor in this my last Will and Testament- Given under my hand and seal this 17th day of January 1867
