400 acre of land in Augusta County on both sides of Mack's Run,
the waters of
New River, being part of the Loyal Company's grant.
Beginning at a Hickory and White oak sapling corner to the land
of Thomas Dunn
& near the mountain, thence with the line of Dunn's land S60
W102 poles to two
White oaks. S25 E138 to a Black oak & two White oak saplings
SE36 to a Hickory
S60 W76 croping the run to a White oak and SE68 poles to two Hickory
saplings
on a high ridge, S80 E210 poles to two sugar trees by said run
N68 E58 poles
to three White oak saplings by the run, N6 E102 to between a White
& a Red oak
on the ridge, N60 W134 to a black oak corner to James Allison
and with a line
thereof N75 W104 to two Red oaks N15 W66 to two black oaks near
the mountain
N68, 2, W57 poles to the beginning.
March 29th 1769
A true copy from the Book of my surveys belonging to the Loyal
Company in my
possession.
