Copies of the book Pittsylvania County, Virginia, Inventories & Accounts Current 1770-1797, compiled by Lucille C. Payne, are available for purchase from the VA-NC Piedmont Genealogical Society for $10 each + $3 postage. A limited supply of the books are available, so don’t delay if you’d like to buy one. The book is hardbound, with 158 pages, plus an index.

Cemetery Book Still Available

Pittsylvania County Tombstone Inscriptions, Volume 5. Listing of nearly 100 cemeteries from throughout Pittsylvania County and Danville [includes an update to listings for the Schoolfield Cemetery, which was once part of Pittsylvania County], of which half represent newly identified cemeteries in the northern part of the county and most of the remainder include newly identified cemeteries in other parts of the county or recent burials in cemeteries published in earlier volumes, including updated information for Gretna Burial Park and Schoolfield Cemetery. Soft-cover, comb-bound book, 175 pages, including some b/w photos, maps and cemetery diagrams. $17 + $3 postage.


Still Available

Complete issues of PIEDMONT LINEAGES for the years 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 2001, 2003 and 2005 of back issues are all that remain available from the VA-NC Piedmont Genealogical Society.
