I copied the above information word for word as it appears in the magazine with the exception of substituting MC for Montgomery County and BC for Botetourt County. The names have been double-checked for spelling.

The article in the magazine does not give an author's name to these volumes. It appears that there were several volumes on "North Carolina" and these names were found in Volume nine from the appendix. I know nothing more than what I have typed.
