Suffolk Deaths--Charles Samuel Jordan died April 14--Charles Samuel Jordan a prominent farmer of Isle of Wight County died at his home here at 8 o'clock. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. ______ Jordan; five daughters Mrs. __ L. Glasscock, Springfield W. Va., Mrs. Phippa Corlett, Bluefield, ___, Misses Florence, Lillian and _____Jordan, all of Benns Church; _____ Charles D. Jordan and _____ a. Jordan, Nansemond County William A.   Jordan, Ashland, Va., and Samuel P. Jordan, Fort Devan and one sister, Mrs. E. A. Morrison, Suffolk. Funeral Services will be held at ____ Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. __. __. Owen, pastor.

Miss Margaret Ann Wetherton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Wetherton, married Mr. Samuel Peele Jordan of Smithfield, Va., son of Mrs. Annie Atkins Jordan and the late Mr. Charles S. Jordan of Smithfield at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Kingsley John Morgan officiating. Mrs. William Maurice Wetherton is matron of honor and Mr. George Grover Yeoman of Smithfield, best man. The bride is given in marriage by her father. The reception follows at the home of her parents on N. Hite. After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Jordan will live at 236 1/2 S. Franck. Out- of-town guests are Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Britton, Jr. of Norfolk, Va., Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Jordan and Mrs. Frances Gelder, Ashland; Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Morrow, Birmingham; Miss Margaret Slack, Guthrie; Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Sallee, Atlanta; Col. H. L. Jordan and Mrs. Jordan, Haddonfield, N. J., and Mrs. McNair Kerswill, Lexington.
