RICHEY, SIRON, WILSON posted by Weaver on Wednesday, March 12, 1997

I am just beginning to research my family tree. I know that the RICHEY, SIRON and WILSON families came from West Virginia. On the RICHEY side, it is believed that John Borman (spelling?) RICHEY was from Wheeling, The SIRON'S definitely lived in Highland county. Joseph SIRON married Jane WILSON around 1805. Here's where some confusion starts. I have heard from some people unrelated to me that Jane WILSON had a son Gilbert before she married Joseph SIRON. The same source said that Joseph SIRON'S will stated that he had adopted Gilbert. I am a descendent of Gilbert, so I am trying to find out if this is true, and if so, who Gilber's biological father was, and who Jane's family was. Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.
