2008 Calendar of Events

Vintage Gun Show
Date: January 26, 2008	Time: 1–4 P.M.
Location: Buckingham Historic Village
No admission charge. Indoor event. Guns from WWII and before.

"Civil War Camp"
Date: March 29–30, 2008	Time: 1–4 P.M. each day
Location: Buckingham Historic Village
No admission charge. See and hear Civil War cannon and campsites. Reenactors will discuss life during the Civil War.

There are two general meetings of the membership each year, one in the spring and one in the fall.

The Spring Meeting is held in a different location each year. The agenda includes presentations of historical interest, featuring information about the location of the meeting, as well as items of business.

The Fall Meeting is held at the Housewright House and features an old-fashioned Brunswick stew dinner, as well as the general business meeting.

Past special events have included House Tours of historic Buckingham County homes.

The Housewright House hosts our annual Christmas season Open House, featuring a themed display of old-fashioned holiday decorations.
