Gertrude Louise McAllister Redman, 94, of
Roanoke, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2005. She was preceded in death by
her husband Charles W. Redman; three children, William Benson, Gerald
Vernon, and Isabelle Ann. She is survived by her son, Ronald Eugene Redman;
fourteen grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Irene
Schilt, of Warrenton Va., Dorothy E. Davis of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and
nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday September, 13, 2005
at Troutville Cemetery with Chester A. Garlick officiating. The family
will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel on Church
Avenue, 982-2100.
