LAWSON, James Martin, 81, of Buchanan, died Thursday, August 22, 1996. He was preceded in death by two sons, James Garfield Lawson and Walter Wayne Lawson Sr. He is survived by one son, Jerry E. Lawson, Roanoke; two daughters, Liddy King, Roanoke, Brenda Stacy, Vinton; two sisters, Dorothy Clay, Roanoke, Gertrude Clay, Ridgecrest, Calif.; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, August 24, at the Troutville Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Belisle officia ting. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rader Daleville Chapel.
