The yearbook and calendar are being updated.
On May 18, chapter members assembled with members of the Chesterfield Historical
Society, and residents from the Village of Bermuda Hundred to greet the Godspeed
as it passed by Bermuda Hundred and Presquile on its way to The Citie of
Henricus. About twelve people were ferried to Presquile in a pontoon boat to
greet and wave to the crew on the Godspeed. Once the ship passed by, three
cherry oak saplings grown from acorns found at Jamestown were planted.
Pat Dickens, Dottie LaFoy, and Angie Wilderman planted one of the trees with the
assistance of Pat's husband, Charles.
