John H. Brown

    Mr. Brown was born December 10, 1857, in Washington county, 
a son of John and Elizabeth Couzens Brown.  He moved with his parents to 
Parowan when a young boy and had lived there most of his life.  After living 
eight months in Los Angeles he came to Beaver, where he had lived the past 
11 months with Mrs. Patterson.  He had never married.  He is survived by one 
sister, Mrs. Mary Anderson of Los Angeles; two half-brothers, Joseph Lowe, 
Los Angeles, and George Lowe, Parowan.

    Funeral services were held Sunday at 3:30 p. m. in the East ward L. D. S. 
chapel at Parowan.  Interment was in the Parowan cemetery.
