Martha Bliss Birch

    Mrs. Birch, wife of Joseph Birch, was born in Kanarraville, 
April 6, 1869, a daughter of Orley and Harriet Lee. She was married 
to Mr. Birch in June, 1886, at Bellview. The couple celebrated 
their golden wedding last June.
  
    Surviving, besides the husband, are eight sons and daughters, 
Herbert E. Birch, Mrs. Iva Malone, Utahn; O. S. Birch, Max Birch, 
Springville; R. E. Birch, San Francisco, Cal.; Mrs. Hazel B. Hadden, 
Duchesne; Mrs. Fern Gilbert, Tillamuck, Ore.; Mrs. Golda O'Neil, 
Indo, Cal.; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 10 brothers 
and sisters, William Bliss, McGill, Nev.; Orley D. Bliss, Sweetwater, 
Mont.; Marion S. Bliss, Price; Vernon Bliss, Moab; Mrs. Thirza Birch, 
Price; Mrs. Hattie Mosh, McCracken, Kan.; Mrs. Ada Haller of Colorado;
