Redmond Gara

Redmond "Ned" "Remmie" Gara (1870-1934) the son of Thomas Gara (1840-1887) and Brigida Dagherty (1846-1886) was born in Glann (Glenmullynaha East), Mayo, Ireland and died in Attleboro, MA. He was the brother of Maria OConnor (1872-1954) of Glann, Mayo; Helene "Nellie" Flynn (1867-1905) of Woonsocket, RI; and Patrick Joseph Gara (1877-1950) of Philadelphia, PA.

Redmond entered the US in the 1890s, was a jewelry worker in Attleboro and never wed.
