Lencho Abila
KERMIT — Lencho Abila, 68, of Wink, owner and operator of Lencho’s Citgo Service Station, 
died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating.
 Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church.Burial will be at 
Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel of Kermit.
He was born in Barstow and had lived in Kermit for 47 years. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Luisa Abila of Wink; sons, Arturo Abila of Odessa and Jessie Abila 
of Wink; daughters, Terri Abila and Melba Abila, both of Kermit; brothers, 
Epifiano Abila of Barstow, Julian Abila of Odessa and Pablo Abila of Pecos; sisters, 
Natividad Mata of Phoenix, Ariz., Licha Aldaz of San Antonio and Eufemia Carrasco of Odessa; 
and five grandchildren.
