Judge E. C. heath of Rockwall, Tex., is here on a visit to the several families
from his home town. Judge Heath has for many years been one of the most
distinguished prohibitionists of Texas. He has been a leader in the prohibition
party and was once its nominee for the office of governor.

Mr. and Mrs. William Edmiston of Ada, Indian Territory, announce the engagement
and approaching marriage of their daughter, Margaret Eleanor, and Mr. L. Halford
of Rockwall, Tex.
The marriage will be performed at the bride's home, in West End, on the evening
of Tuesday, February 12. Only a limited number of friends will be present. Rev.
C. E .Robertson of the First Presbyterian Church will perform the ceremony.
The bride, who is very charming, is a member of one of the oldest and most
aristocratic families of Tennessee, and she has many friends both in Nashville
and in Ada. Mr. Halford is one of the most influential business men of Rockwall,
Texas, and is President of the Farmers National Bank at that place.
Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Halford will leave for "Willow Brook"
his country home, near Rockwall, Texas-Nashville (Tenn.) Banner

G. O. Key of Whitewright, reputed to be a preacher of much power.
