This cemetery was located about one mile south of Bremond off of Hwy. 14. It was to the right when going from Bremond towards Hwy. 6, near the white two-story Roberts' former home that still stands next to the highway. After grandson John Coleman Roberts died in 2000, all of the graves were moved from near the house to the Bremond Cemetery. Folklore has it that John Coleman Roberts came from Kentucky with his horse and rooster, which are supposedly buried in the now-vacated family plot. A Civil War veteran who lost an arm in the war, John Coleman Roberts was said to have been influential in encouraging the Poles to come to Bremond.
