RALLS (Special) - Services for Opal Owens, 87, of Lubock will be at 3 p.m. today in the Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy McGuire, associate pastor of Lubbock's Bacon Heights Baptist Church, and Ron Rodeck, chaplain of Lubbock's Lutheran Home of West Texas, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Owens died at 1:23 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1993, in Lubbock's Saint Mary of the Plains Hospital.

She was born Oct. 25, 1905, in Bogata. She married Ernest Owens Sr. on Jan. 24, 1925, in Crosbyton. He died March 16, 1962. She was a homemaker and a member of the Broadview Baptist Church of Lubbock. She moved to Lubbock in 1963 from Ralls. A daughter, Patsy Goodson, died in 1957.

Survivors include a son, E.A. Jr. of Lubbock three daughters, Bobbie Billington of Lubbock, Nina Borum of Kress and Helen Ruth Morris of Brighton, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
