RALLS (Special) — Services for Thomas Howard Cornwell, 71, of Ralls will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ralls First Baptist Church with Dr. Billy Burke, pastor, and the Rev. John Goss, retired minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Cornwell died Friday evening at his home. Justice of the peace Jim Scott Travis ruled the death was due to natural causes.

A native Texan, Cornwell had lived in the Ralls area since 1924 and married Faye Mayes there Oct. 31, 1932. Cornwell was a retired television repairman and had worked with the Boy Scouts of America program for a number of years. He was a member and past master of Ralls Masonic Lodge and a past worthy patron of the Ralls chapter of Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John Thomas of Hobbs, N.M.; a brother, J.L. of Ralls; a sister, Mrs. Merrell Cox of Lubbock; and two grandchildren.
