Services for Alice Iva Colville, 80, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1991, in First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Goss, a retired Baptist minister, and the Rev. Mike Struve, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 1991, in Lubbock´s St. Mary of the Plains Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 3, 1911 in Hill County and moved to Ralls in 1925. She married Elvis Colville at Elida, N.M. He died on June 24, 1975. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a member of the Victory Sunday school class, Joy Club and past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, Clayton Phillips of Lubbock and Carroll Hirst of Ralls; a sister, Anna Bullman of Littlefield; a brother, M.A. Greer of Idalou; four grandchildren, Mark Hirst, Jana McKenzie, LaVerna Phillips, LaChana Gilbert; five great-grandchildren.
