
A lengthy illness for Juanita Pina terminated in death at 2 p.m. Saturday. Mrs. Pina died in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.Mrs. Pina, whose family home was at 810 East Main, was 59.
Memorial services were at 10 a.m. Monday in the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Florentino Rodriguez and the Rev. Falme Casanova officiated.
Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery.
The former Juanita Flores was born in Norhein. She and Rafael H. Pina were married Feb. 19, 1952, in Sinton.
The family moved to Crosbyton in 1958 from Sinton. She was associated with Thompson Cleaners before failing health forced her retirement.
Mrs. Pina was a member of the Spanish Assembly of God Church and the Women Ministries.
She is survived by her husband, Rafael; her mother, Andrea Flores of Crosbyton; four daughters, Naomi Pina, Nora Pina, Nelda Pina and Norma Almarez, all of Crosbyton; one son, Javier Pina of Crosbyton; five sisters, Manuela Puentes of Taft, and Margarita Casanova, Hilaria Flores, Guadalupe Acevedo and Celia Valdez, all of Crosbyton; two brothers, Piacido Flores of Sinton and Marcos Flores of Great Bend, Kan.; and one grandchild.
