Services for Mary Florence Anderson, 74, of Lubbock were held Friday, June 7, 2002, at 10 a.m. at Sunset Church of Christ with Dan Rouse officiating.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Lakeside Rehabilitation and Care Center.
She was born on Dec. 4, 1927, in Houma, LA. She later married Alvin Edwin Anderson on Oct. 23, 1945, in Houma.
She was a member of Sunset Church of Christ. She was known as "Grandma Flo" at Nautilus Child Care Center in Lubbock. She moved to the Lubbock area in the 1940´s from Los Angeles, CA.
Survivors include her three sons Alvin Anderson and Jimmy Anderson both from Lubbock and Jay Anderson from Rhome, Texas; daughter Karen Simpson from California; sister Marie Miller from Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and seven grandchildren.
