S. P. COLEMAN DEAD; FORMER CITIZEN
Prominent Lawrence Countian Is Victim of Bright's Disease:
Relatives in Hickman
The recent death of S. P. COLEMAN, former citizen of Hickman
County, at his home at Leoma in Lawrence County, brought profound sorrow
to relatives and friends of deceased who died after a long illness of
Bright's disease. Funeral services were conducted at the home and
interment followed at the family cemetery.
Mr. COLEMAN was born in this county, Feb. 26, 1856, and was
more than 68 years of age at the time of his death. He was a member
of the Baptist church many years and had lived in Lawrence County the past
several years. Surviving are his wife, formerly Miss Roena BAKER of
this county; and the following children: Robert and Albert COLEMAN, Mrs.
Ada SEAVER, Mrs. Bessie JAMES, Mrs. Ida RICHARDSON and Miss Lena Mae
COLEMAN of Leoma; Mrs. Lizzie QUINN of Athens, Ala.; Mrs. Bertha HEINZMAN
of Colorado, and Sam COLEMAN of Kentucky. Other relatives live in
this and Lawrence Counties.
