McKnight-Gwin Burial Ground

The following tombstones were read by Joe E. Hart & T.J. Caldwell in October 1872. The family burial ground is located about six miles southwest of McConnells, York County, SC, west of Secondary Road 59 near Susybole Creek. Some words have been dropped in order to conserve space but the essential information is preserved.

**The Rosses later moved to the Indian Land section of Lancaster County. There Olive L. Ross founded the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church on Newton Road off #521.
