Purpose Statement

A non-profit organization that will strive:

To encourage membership in and around our area but not limited to Horry County, South Carolina,

To help each other with the proverbial "brick wall",

To promote the sharing of information related to research and technique,

To promote study and establish a working relationship within the group and other genealogists,

To provide a variety of outlooks related to the "hobby" of ancestral research,

To provide a wide range of experience,

To provide and encourage support to group members and others interested in genealogical research,

To maintain a good working relationship with other genealogical clubs and societies.

To encourage young people to appreciate and engage in genealogical research,
