St. Paul Mission was established in 1839 at St. Paul, Oregon.

St. Paul Mission in 1847, from a woodcut by Father Point. The "ancient church," left of center, is the original log chapel of 1836. Father (later Archbishop) Francois Norbert Blanchet first said mass on January 6, 1839.
