Genealogy is alive, healthy and growing in Oklahoma!
Everyone has seen a picture of a healthy cell under a microscope. It grows and it grows and finally it divides. This is a natural, healthy and exciting occurrence. It happens with groups of people, too. Sometimes groups split and people blame it on one thing or another, but the truth of the matter is this: if the group is healthy, the natural occurrence of things is that the group will eventually split. This makes sense because of things like gasoline, driving times and focusing our areas of interest. Don’t you think it’s great that, instead of closing down like some other groups, our group is healthy and expanding and dividing?
After 6-1/2 years, Kingfisher-Blaine Counties Genealogical Society has decided to re-form into two groups. We consider this an exciting achievement for Oklahoma genealogy.
