This is an active well kept cemetery. It is located right in Katie, just beside the old school, which is currently being restored and made into a museum of the Katie area. If you find any errors or know of any additions that should be made to this listing, please let us know. The Katie Community takes great pride in their cemetery as evidenced by the care it receives, which, I am told, costs around $1200.00 a year. This is funded by donations. If you have family buried here and would like to help you can send donations to: Katie Cemetery Association, Rt. 2, Box 47, Elmore City, OK 73433. They would put the money to good use.
