He was born in April, 1842 at Bell's Landing, Alabama

 He died in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma in January, 1917, 
and is buried there at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 

      He married Mary J. Carson in March, 1867, 
in Titus County, Texas

      In the 1910 census, he was living northeast of 
Wynnewood, and he lists his occupation as farmer
