Just wanted to let you and the other Knox Co. researchers know that I've just finished putting the Manual of the First Congregational Church (Mt. Vernon) from 1924 on CD-Rom in .pdf format. The book can be viewed and printed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader software which is freely distributed at the Adobe website.

The directory contains a chronological list of when members joined the church .... from 1834 through 1924 ... as well as a list of the current members as of the year the booklet was published in 1924. There is also a brief historical outline of the church history ... as well as a small section describing Congregationalism and various segments on church doctrine and guidelines.

If other researchers would like to get a copy ... I'm asking $6.00 to cover the cost of the CD, packaging and postage, etc.
