She had been a Springfield area resident most of her life and was employed for many years at the Safety Grinding Wheel and Thompson Grinder. She had been the receptionist for Dr. Howard Ingling since 1940. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and was active in many church organizations. She is survived by several cousins. Friends may call at the Ingling Williams Funeral Home, Springfield Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 PM in the Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Mr. and Mrs. THOMAS resided for fifteen years in Canada, where Mr. THOMAS was the Canadian sales representative for the former Buckeye Incubator Company of this city. Mrs. THOMAS was very well known in Canada for her sports activities. She won several golf trophies, while playing on the country club circuit in Ontario and other provinces. She was also an expert skier. Mr. and Mrs. THOMAS was preceded in death b her husband in 1966. She is survived by her son, Allann Yeazel THOMAS and one sister, Mrs. Harold R. FURROW, both of Springfield. Private graveside services will be held on Monday, with the Rev. Edward Rich officiating. There will be no visitation in the funeral home. She was a lifelong resident of the Springfield area and a longtime member of the Clifton Avenue Church of God. She is survived by one son, Jack KINGERY of the Mueller Residential Center; five brothers, Arden and Alvin STEWART both of Florida, Russell and Lester STEWART both of Springfield, and Paul STEWART of Virginia; three sisters, Mrs George (Mildred) MARTIN of Enon, Mrs Phillip (Deloris) FRIZZELL and Mrs Walter (Kathryn) SHROYER both of Springfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence KINGERY and a daughter, Patricia MCFARLAND. Friends may call in the Austin Richards and Raff Memorial Home from 6-8 pm Monday. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the chapel at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev Don Cox officiating.
