Joseph A. GARRY, 56, of 2129 Broadway, owner and operator of Joe GARRY Plumbing and Heating Co., for 25 years, died at 4:30 a.m. Monday in Mercy Medical Center. Hi body was taken to the Conroy Funeral Home, where friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A joint Knights of Columbus visitation will be held at 7:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be sung at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bud MURRAY, Joe MCCURDY, Jack SIMONTON, Jim SIMONTON, Jim PICCOLO and Bob MOORMAN. Mrs. Ada ANDERSON, 81, 730 Dibert Avenue, died in Hearthgreen Nursing Home, Jamestown, at 12:40 p.m. Monday. She was born in Guntersville, Ala., May 13, 1897, a daughter of Wallace and Henrietta REED HENRY. She was a member of Highlight Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Edward; a son, Glover ERSKIN; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her body was taken to the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.

Albert B. BAUER, 74, 1707 East High Street, a retired machinist, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Mercy Medical Center following a one and one-half year illness. He was born in Jackson, May 28, 1904, a son of Gust Luther and Mary Agatha SHEPHERD BAUER. He lived most of his life in Springfield and was employed as machinist for International harvester for 35 years, retiring in 1966. He was a member of Alcoholic Anonymous for 37 years and was a member of United Auto Workers Local 402. Survivors include his wife, Nina; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Nancy) WHITACRE; a son, Gus, both of Springfield; a sister, Rhoda STEPHSON, Springfield; three brothers, George and Chris of Springfield, and Gus of Indiana; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. His body was taken to Conroy Funeral Home for services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. John Bradosky officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Smilin Bob Heart Attack Fund.

Mrs. Julia Ann TRIMBLE, 78, of 629 East Southern Avenue, died at 8:52 a.m. Monday in Sharonview Nursing Home following three years of failing health. She was born in Louisa, Kentucky, on August 26, 1900, the daughter of Robert and Belle BELLEMY RUGGLES. A resident of Springfield for 37 years, she was a former dietary department employee at the Ohio Masonic Home and a member of the Methodist church in Louisa. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary BEEGLE, Springfield; two sons, Robert NUNLEY, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and James Orville NUNLEY, San Bernadino, Calif.; a brother, Richard RUGGLES, Newport Richie, Fla.: and several nieces and nephews. Her body was taken to the Richards memorial Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held there at 11 a.m. Friday in charge of the Rev. Eugene Hilt. Burial will be in the South Vienna Cemetery.

(Doc) THOMAS, 65, formerly of 3983 Dayton Lakeview rd., New Carlisle, died at 2 a.m. Saturday in the Utopia Nursing Home, Medway, where he had been a patient for one month. He had been ill for one year. Mt. THOMAS was a retired employee of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. He was born in Tremont City July 2, 1913, the son of Frank D. and Carol HUTCHINSON THOMAS. Mr. THOMAS was a member of New Carlisle Lodge No. 100, F and AM, New Carlisle Aerie No. 3491, FOE. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army. Survivors include two aunts, Mrs. Jane COLLINS of St. Paris and Mrs. Margaret COOK of Xenia, and 10 cousins. His wife, Dorothy, died in 1973. His body was taken to the Trostel-Chapman Funeral Home, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held there are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Norman Eilar, pastor of Good Shepherd Methodist Church, Park Layne, officiating. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.

Roy C. "Pete" AMMON, 77, 4174 Phoenix Drive, died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday in Mercy Medical Center. He was born January 10, 1902, in St. Paris. He retired in 1976 after 42 years of employment with Robbins and Myers, Inc. Mr. AMMON was a member of the united Brethren in Christ Church. Survivors include his wife, Corbia; two sons; Jack HOLTON, Worthington, and Paul HOLTON, Oxon Hill, Md., two daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Sutton, Springfield, and Mrs. Ruth Ann BECK, New York City, seven grandchildren, and one nephew. Her body was taken to the Richards Memorial home and will be sent to the Klouse Weigle Funeral Home, Hamilton, for services Thursday. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.

XENIA - Clarence E. MCKEEVER, 74, of 312 Ravina Rd., formerly of Springfield, was dead on arrival at Greene Memorial Hospital at 11:45 p.m. Thursday. He was a retired Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. agent, formerly associated with Dallas Marshall Realtors of Xenia and Fulmer Co. of Springfield, and managed a grocery in the city. He was born December 24, 1904, in Cleveland, the son of John William and Della MCKEEVER, and spent winters in Weslaco, Texas, and summers in Dyers Bay, Ontario, Canada. He was a candidate for Greene County Commission in the 1960s and his memberships included the Salvation Army board and Kiwanis Club of Xenia. He married the former Leona BUTLER, a Springfield native, in 1935. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Pam MCKEEVER CURTIS of Trotwood; a son, Victor MCKEEEVER of Xenia; three grandchildren; a sister, Lenora MCKEEVER of Urbana, and two brothers, William of Westville and Robert of Springfield. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McColaugh Funeral Home, Xenia, by the Rev. Gordon Kester of Westminster Church. Buruial will be in Woodland Cemetery. She was a member of Greene Street United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Progressive Mother's Club. She had been a buyer for J.W. Brown Store and Uhlman's for many years. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Raymond D. and Thomas L. both of Piqua; one daughter Mrs. Orville FRANCIS (Patrica) of Piqua; four brothers, Robert YOUNT of Eaton, Samuel YOUNT of Bradenton, Fla.; Richard and Carl YOUNT of Bradford; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. One daughter, Esther, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Jamieson Funeral Home, 333 W. High St., with the Dr. Robert Sinks officiating. A 26-year-old Springfield man was found dead this morning in an automobile behind his 1829 Summit St. residence. Dennis NANCE was found lying across the front seat of a parked automobile about 9 am today. Police, including officers from the crime lab, Fire Division paramedics, and Rick Dunbar of the Clark County Coroner's office were called to the scene. A Fire Division report said the ignition of the automobile was off when the body was found. When the Squad arrived on the scene at 9:24, no vital signs could be detected.

He retired from the Kelsey-Hayes Speco Division 14 years ago after 23 years of service as a machinist. Mr. Byerman was a former member of the Northridge Lions Club and the JOUAM. He was a member of the Northside Methodist Church, St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife, Helen BOLTZ BYERMAN; two sons, Richard K. and Gil D., both of Springfield; a daughter Mrs. Carroll (Janet) K. WHEATON of Thackery; a brother Forrest H. of New Carlisle; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Margaret A. Lothschuetz, 59, of 2673-K Cannon Point Court, Columbus, a former Springfield resident and one-time member of the board of trustees of the Clark County unit of the American Cancer Society, died Wednesday morning in her residence following a brief illness. Mrs. Lothschuetz, a former registered nurse at Mr. Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, was a 1937 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a 1946 graduate of the Springfield Community School of Nursing. She earned a bachelor's degree in 1962 from Wittenberg University and her master's degree seven years later from Central State University. Mrs. Lothschuetz was a former assistant professor for the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Conn. She was a member of Franklin Unit No. 1 Ladies' Auxiliary of the American Legion, and a former member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Springfield. She was born May 21, 1919 in Chillicothe, a daughter of Joseph F. and Anne Juenger. Survivors include her father, with whom she resided; a daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Mary Isabel) Nolte, Cheshire, Conn., and four grandchildren. Her body was taken to Conroy Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Lawrence HALL, 79 of 333 1/2 S. Plum St., die Wednesday at 10:05 p.m. in Community Hospital. He was born April 9, 1900 in Oliver, Illinois, a son of Thomas and Tabitha Simon HALL. He was a 22 year employee of Robbins & Myer Co., retiring in April 1965. He is survived by a brother, Granville HALL of Springfield, and nieces and nephews. His body was taken to Littleton Funeral Home, where arrangements are pending.

Page10. The Thursday death of Vicky LANG WHITTINGTON, 30, of 603 s. Arlington Ave., has been ruled a suicide by Dr. George P. Anderson, Clark County, Coroner, according to a spokesman for the coroner's office. A police report of the incident said Whittington was found hanging from the rafters of the garage about 2:45 p.m. Thursday. Her father, Roger WHITTINGTON, was notified of her death shortly thereafter. The police crime investigation team and officials from the coroner's office were called to the scene after the body was discovered. WHITTINGTON was found not guilty of murder in the Feb. 15, 1976 death of her 8 month old son and 2 1/2 year old daughter by reason of insanity. The bodies of the children were discovered in their 1938 Wilkes Dr. home by Rich E. LANG, then WHITTINGTON's husband. After her trial she was admitted to Lima State Hospital. Miss WHITTINGTON was born Dec. 13, 1948, in Springfield, the daughter of Roger and Mildred GRUNDTISCH WHITTINGTON. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, a graduate of Shawnee High School and attended Clark Technical College. Survivors include her parents, with whom she lived; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Shirley) NEUHARDT, and Mrs. Robert (Carolyn) BRADLEY, both of Springfield. A sister Barbara is deceased. Her body was taken to Jones-O'Brien-Kenney Funeral home, where there will no calling houses. Services will be held at the convenience of the family by Rev. William Zimmerman. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clark County Mental Health and Department and Hope Lutheran Church.

She was born in Circleville, Aug. 28, 1896, a daughter of Daniel and Lottie KUDER CLARK. She had been a resident of Springfield most of her life and was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the Rose City Chapter 159, Grandmothers Club. She was past president of the Clark County Tuberculosis Sanatarium. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Vernamae) BAXTER, Dundee Fla.; a son Russell C., Anaheim, Calif.; a brother, Champ CLARK, Elsimore, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Harry Sr., a son, Harry Jr., and a daughter, Martha, are dead. Her body was taken to Richards Memorial Home, where friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held at the funeral home 11 a.m. Friday, with burial in Vale Cemetery.

Mrs. Eva WHIPP, 86, died at 4;30 a.m. Monday in the New Horizons Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 5, 1892, the daughter of Daniel and Molly Kate MINTON. Mrs. Whipp was a member of the Maiden Lane Church of God and the Gold Star Mothers Club. Survivors include two sons, Charles R. and Paul H. WHIPP, both of Texas; two daughters, Carrie Elizabeth JONES of Springfield and Mabel (Sandy) DAMERON of Mt Vernon, Wash.; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Roy G. HARTMAN, 76, of 1011 N. Burnett Rd., died at 7:20 a.m. Thursday in Community Hospital. He was born on March 20, 1903, in Chambersburg, Pa., but had resided in Springfield most of his life. He had been a machinist at the Springfield Machine Tools Co. for 42 years before retiring in 1970. He had been an avid bowler and was known to his bowling buddies as "Hook" HARTMAN. He was a member of Red Star Lodge, Knights of Pythias. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle I. DEARTH HARTMAN; two step-sons, Jesse HARTMAN and Frank CRABLE, and two step-daughters, Mrs. Ben (Phyllis) TAYLOR, and Mrs. Russell (Jeanette) WILLIAMS, all of Springfield; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
