FIRST GENERATION
1. Bernard MCSHANE was born in Ireland. He was married to Ann TREANOR. Ann TREANOR was born in Ireland.

SECOND GENERATION
2. Bernard "Barney" MCSHANE was born on 13 Apr 1866 in Louth Co., Ireland. He immigrated in 1881. He died on 11 Feb 1914 in Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY. He was buried on 20 Aug 1914 in St. Agnes' Cemetery - Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY. Buried in Section #36, Lot #129. Originally buried in another area of cemetery, but was moved to present location on 14 June 1933, by Mrs. Margaret (Mooney) McShane. He was a Foreman - Solvay Process Co. in Onondaga Co., NY.1 He died at the age of 47yrs 9mos 28dys.
He was married to Margaret "Peg" M. MOONEY (daughter of James MOONEY and Margaret HARDY) in about 1887. Margaret (Mooney) McShane purchased 6 burial lots at St. Agnes' Cemetery in 1933, apparently at the time her daughter, Sarah Edna died. Bernard was moved to the sight in June of that same year. Before her passing in 1953, Margaret transfered ownership of two of the lots, to her eldest daughter, Mae (possibly 1 month before Margaret's death, as that is when her son-in-law, Mae's husband, James McConnell, died.)
Along with Bernard & Margaret (Mooney) McShane and Mae (McShane) & James McConnell, buried at that site are: Sarah Edna McShane, buried: 12 April 1933 and William J. McShane, buried 22 November 1940. At this time the relationship of William J. McShane is unknown. CWP -2 Oct 1997 Margaret "Peg" M. MOONEY was born on 4 Oct 1868 in Scotland. She immigrated in 1885. She died on 6 Jul 1953 in Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY.2 She was buried on 9 Jul 1953 in Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY.3 Father Bannon performed the service. She died of. She died at the age of 84yrs 9mos 2dys.
