Our chapter meetings, with programs devoted to preservation, educational, and patriotic subjects, are typically held in the afternoon.  Our members support the NSDAR in projects of national significance, such as DAR Project Patriot, as well as projects of local interest, such as our Patriotic and Good Citizenship Medals, and the New York City Flag Day Parade.

Membership in the DAR is by invitation to women eighteen and older who can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence.  The NSDAR and its chapters do not discriminate against an applicant on the basis of race or creed.  If you are interested in finding out more about our chapter or pursuing membership in the NSDAR, please send an email to our regent.
