INJURIES PROVE FATAL

Thomas Reeves Died of Wounds Received in a Saw Mill in March

Dexter, April 2-Thomas Reeves died at his home here yesterday. His death was due to injuries received from being struck by a plank which he was sawing in the shop of Binninger & Strainge on March 24th. Mr. Reeves was a veteran of the civil war, enlisting In Company I Tenth New York Heavy artillery, which was organized by Capt H. O. Gilmore. He served with distinction at the battles of Petersburgh and Cold Harbor, remaining with his company until the close of the war. Mr. Reeves at the time of his injuries had been in the employ of Binninger & Strainge more than twenty-five years. A widow, two sons, Clinton and Burt, and one daughter, Mrs. Thomas M. Jumps; also four brothers, Martin, William, James and Hiram, and two sisters, Mrs, J. F. Kimball and Miss Kate Reeves survive.
