I am looking for information about Henry Peter MURPHY. He was born in Buffalo, Niagara County, New York on November 13, 1810. He was the youngest of 13 children. They family moved to Fort Dearborn (Chicago) a few years after his birth. In the 1810 US Census of New York, Niagara County in the village of Buffalo there is listed a J. MURPHEY family. That remains my only strong link other than his Civil War service record which identifies his birth place.
