I am looking for a date of death for John SMALLSHAW, born April 14, 1803 in Liverpool, England. He resided in Buffalo starting from ~1842. His wife, Ann Gay PARKER passed away November 14, 1852 in Buffalo, NY. I am also looking for the year of marriage for John SMALLSHAW (son of the above) to Marian Frances WHITCOMB. They were married at the Cedar Street Baptist Church on March 13.

I am researching VOGT family history. My great uncle produced a VOGT family history booklet in 1898 which covers my great-great-grandfather Martin VOGT from when he left Germany in March of 1836 and his descendants until 1898. I am especially looking for the burial place of Martin VOGT who died in Buffalo on Aug. 19, 1849. Can anyone help? Thank you.

My grandfather, John Henry TITUS, enlisted in the Navy in Buffalo, NY in 1907 and gave as his home address Eden Center, NY. Since I do not believe that he was married at this time, there must have been another family member living there. Are there any directories available for Eden Center? The other possible names would be: Arthur TITUS, Josephine TITUS, Kate/Catherine TITUS, Henry TITUS. Any help or clues as to how I might find out why he gave this as his permanent address would be appreciated.

I am doing work on the family name BAKER I am trying to find information on a Jeremiah BAKER it is said he was a red headed Irishman I believe he could have been married to an Elisabeth(nick name) Elisa who would have possibly been born in Germany. I'm not sure of her last name also Jeremiah would have been born in the mid 1840's or 1850's. He had a son named James. William born in Aug.1873 who married an Elisabeth DOBLER born Feb.1882, Jeremiah would have been from Buffalo NY Erie County he is said to have owned some ships. I'm unable to find this father, or his oldest son, JOHANNES, b 1827, Germany, after they arrived in this country. Two of the children married in Buffalo Erie Co. NY. Louisa in 1852 and Adam in 1862. Except for the father and oldest son,(and perhaps one daughter, Margaretha),all were found moved to Lee and Bureau Co. IL. From there, three moved on with their families to Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa.
