Early Settlers - Oxford

Early settlers in the Town of Oxford taken from "1874 History of Chenango & Madison Counties, NY" by James H Smith; pub. 1880. Tried to use year, where stated, person and where they were from.
Oxford was formed from Jericho (now Bainbridge) and Union, (Broome co.), January 19, 1793, and orignally embraced the town of Guilford, which was taken off April 3, 1813, and a part of Coventry, which was taken off in 1843. Oxford forms the western portion of the township of Fayette.
