Welcome

The Morris Area Genealogy Society (MAGS) was founded in February 1988.  The first meeting was held at the Joint Free Public Library of Morristown and Morris Township.  Monthly meetings are held at Morris County Library, 30 East Hanover Ave., Whippany, NJ on the first Tuesday evening of the month.  Our monthly programs usually include a speaker, informal discussions, and refreshments.

MAGS also hosts a private Members Only site to view MAGS photos. For more information on the Members Only site, click here. [NOTE to anyone who may have encountered MorrisAreaGenSoc on Yahoo Groups.  There is no longer anyone monitoring the group and it is no longer active.]
