Although these pages are here to assist those researching their family histories in Sherman County, Nebraska, we do not live in Sherman County and are therefore unable to do any research for individuals. Our main purpose is to maintain these pages and to add new information as we receive it. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! We are looking for materials to be added and we encourage your submissions. Types of materials we are looking for include: family histories, biographies, photos, obituaries, etc. Because of copyright laws, only materials dated before 1923 or written by the submitter will be accepted. The USGenWeb Project

In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Kentucky Comprehensive Genealogy Database Project. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Kentucky, where collected databases would be stored. In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked,so that even if an individual were found in more than one county, they could be located in the index.
