I am looking for a Kruger that fathered a girl Ottilia Riebhagen in 1902. He was supposed to be living on the reservation as late as te 1940's.

Surname: JANUSCHEITIS

I am seeking and information or stories about any member of my family. My grandfather, Peter JANUSCHEITIS is buried in Ft. Yates. They lived there, and in the area, for an unknown period. He was married to Irene VOLK (later Irene LIPP). They had at least six children, of which only Bernard is still alive (living in Moorhead, MN):

John
Hilda
Peter
Antione
Rose (my mother)
Bernard
Kathryn

Any information or stories you can provide would be gratefully received. I am planning to visit Ft. Yates this coming summer (2005) with my youngest son, and would love to visit with anyone interested.

I am searching for burial records for a Lakota Chief named Crow King (Kangi Yatapika), who was buried at the Catholic Cemetery at Fort Yates in April, 1884. I have not yet been able to visit North Dakota, but I understand that there is no existing headstone for him. Can anyone offer information? Thank you.
